WHY A COMPLIANT PLAN MATTERS
Clear property boundaries help transactions succeed
A Land Registry-compliant plan is commonly required for first registrations, transfers of part and registrable leases, including most leases granted for more than seven years. They would also be required when a property is split, for instance when turning a house into flats or vice versa. The purpose is to clearly define the area and boundaries of the property for Land Registry to avoid any boundary disputes between neighbouring properties.
